Tom grew up in Maryland. He became a Christian in high school through the ministry of Young Life. Tom graduated from the University of Maryland with a B.S. in Radio, TV and Film. He began working in broadcasting in 1975. He and Colleen were friends in high school, and started dating in college. They have three daughters and three grandchildren. Tom is a ruling elder in the Presbyterian Church in America. He enjoys golf, but really loves playing with his grandchildren.
Colleen grew up in Maryland. She went to college at Montreat-Anderson in Montreat, North Carolina never realizing that one day she would make North Carolina her home. Tom and Colleen were friends long before they dated. She will tell you what drew her to him was his love for the Lord. Tom and Colleen married in 1977. They have 3 daughters and 3 precious grandchildren. When their youngest daughter began kindergarten Tom asked Colleen if she would come help him out at the office a few hours a day with the bookkeeping. Twenty-Three years later she is still in that supportive role. Colleen is “crazy” in love with her grandchildren and loves supporting her children in doing “life”.
A New Hampshire native, having grown up in Vermont, Dan began working at a local TV station at the age of 16 and has remained in broadcasting ever since. After managing a Christian radio station for 10 years, he came to ACC in 2001 as a producer, providing voice work for various radio ministry programs as well. The father of 3 grown children and a 1 year old granddaughter, Dan and his wife Theo enjoy hiking, kayaking, long walks on the beach and traveling together to visit their kids in Colorado and Minnesota and extended family in New England.
Andy grew up in a Christian family on a dairy farm in northwest New Jersey. He graduated from Rutgers University and has worked in Christian media since 1991. He served overseas with the missionary radio organization Trans World Radio in Swaziland and Austria, and begin working at ACC in 2003. Andy and Ruth married in 1995 and have a teenage daughter and son. He enjoys spending time with his family, participating in events and activities at East Carolina University and elsewhere in eastern Carolina, and visiting the family farm on vacation.
The son of a pianist and an Air Force Veteran, Will grew up traveling around the world, while the Lord developed his passions for music, computers, and good stories. He met his wife Aaren, an intern with Campus Crusade for Christ (now known as CRU), at East Carolina University. After marrying her in 2002, Will pursued his desire to share the greatest story every told with the world and began working at Atlantic Coast Communications in 2003; and now serves as the video, web, and computer guy. Will and Aaren enjoy each other; reading, hiking, and doing most things related to the outdoors with their four treasured boys, Jordan, Garrett, Nathan, and Eli.
